Identity design for an AI-driven beachfront travel festival in Dubai.
The brief
TFest is an AI-driven festival for the world’s most influential luxury travel designers and experience providers that saw its debut in Dubai in February 2020. Winding back a year, James Young, Creative Director at Big Agency London called us in to develop the festival’s brand identity and motion design direction. His brief? Create an aspirational identity that fused luxury and minimalism with the energy of an international beachfront festival.

Outcome
A festival identity complete with brand guidelines, a motion style guide and more. The identity features a sunset palette and tiered visual language-system. The first stage, featuring dotted ‘journey’ lines represents the shared purpose of TFest’s guest designers and exhibitors - to plan incredible paths of travel for high net-worth clientele. The second features a modular topographic pattern system designed to reflect the changing landscape of luxury travel. TFest launched in February 2020, and since 2021 has expanded to both the UAE and the Americas.
