Cardboard Stage is a niche booking agency representing dancing talent predominantly associated with the New York Ballet. In 2025, Scott Mellor of Studio ThinkTank was leading development of the brand together with founder Dasha Schwartz. We came in early in the process to develop the brand's motion approach and assist with identity direction. Parallel to the brand’s visual identity development, we ran an organic experimentation process that traced the movement of New York’s dance talent, helping inform the final brand mark and wider shape and motion system.
