Green Planet Protein is a start-up vegan protein powder made exclusively from Australian-sourced ingredients, with biodegradable packaging, a carbon-negative footprint and a portion of profits donated to reforestation. The perfect client, basically. We were approached to develop the brand identity, packaging and photography. The result was a restrained identity featuring colours and patterns lifted from the Australian landscape. Canela was chosen as the main typeface for its premium feel, as well as the practical benefit of using less ink than sans serif type. Particular focus was given to colour, with a muted palette inspired by lush, canopy-covered rainforests and a subtle nod to the iconic Australian Made logo.
