CORR Projects is a boutique building company based in Melbourne’s south-east. We were approached in 2021 by founder Brad Corr to craft an identity and position the company as a premium builder. Taking cues from architecture studios, the brief called for something clean, sleek and contemporary. Modern elegance, essentially. The result was a minimalist identity balancing a polished aesthetic with friendly touches indicative of a family-owned business. An earthy palette drew from tones and textures common to contemporary building, including granite and stone, while burnt orange provided a point of difference against the often monotone palettes of competitors. The visual language extended into linework inspired by architectural floor plans, while a lighter, more open typeface contrasted with the rigid sans-serifs commonly seen across the category.
