‘From Melbourne, With Love’ is Section 8's debut vinyl release and love letter to the city’s vibrant music scene. Launched in April 2023, the record comes as the culmination of the ‘Level-Up’ program - a six-month series of events set up to support the Melbourne arts community post-lockdown. The vinyl consists of nine tracks spanning a host of genres that reflect the diverse sounds of the container bar. Working with Section 8 and illustrator Box Smell, artwork was needed for the release.

Outcome
Box Smell was a demon on the illustration work, while I handled the title typography, rear cover design and center label designs. A sneaky street poster campaign was also run following the launch event. Word is Northside Records sold all their stock sharpish, and we hear good things from the community too.
