Inspired by sunny days, collective memories and foraging adventures from the bush to the coast, Comet Beverages is a bottled love letter to the place where we live and explore. Conceived over lockdown by a team of hospitality mavericks, the brand’s mission was simple: return the taste of pure fruit back down to earth. Premium natural syrups, free from artificial flavours, colours and sweeteners, with a classic, leisurely identity inspired by the Australian coast. The result was a throwback brand built around an internally-coined design language of ‘milk bar-chic’ — the sun-kissed, ocean-sprayed milk bars dotted along our coasts. The logo puts its feet up, inclined slightly backwards with a comet streak forming the ‘T’. Launched in 2022 with a throwback slushee van and core syrup range, Comet has since made landfall across Victoria. Sodas are up next. Watch this space, because Comet = space. We’re out.
