What do you do for a dad that’s about to retire, but still has the itch to start a business? You brand him up and send him on his way is what. Headed by Geoff Walker (the father), GSA Sealers is a packaging company that deals in semi-automatic sealing machines and their related consumables within the FMCG space. Geoff needed a basic identity to get started, extending to business cards, letterheads, van decals and more to come.

OUTCOME
Identity
Collateral
Identity design and starter-pack collateral to get things rolling. The GSA symbol is designed to mimic packaging film, a common sealing machine consumable that represents a large part of GSA’s trade. Within this symbol, the abbreviated letters of GSA were embedded as layers of the film. The main colour of green was chosen to align with one of GSA’s core business partners in Taiwan and strengthen a decades-old alliance. Geoff was quite chuffed, and quite sure that full retirement is still a few solar cycles away.
