You might be familiar with ChromeOS, but imagine a souped-up edition with enhanced management, security and support capabilities for school IT departments, and that’s Chrome Education Upgrade. Google APAC were looking to increase the adoption of Chrome Education Upgrade in schools across the South-East Asia region with a two-minute video that demonstrated such capabilities and summarised the value proposition. Fast forward a few months, and I was linked up with the project team at R/GA, Google agency partner, to help storyboard the video and animate the final product.

OUTCOME
Motion Design
Full sketchbooks, big Figma files and a two-minute video built to accomodate different languages. The storyboard was based around the concept of the ‘dot’ found in the Chrome logo. This dot was used to represent the Control Center of Chrome Education Upgrade, construct sequences demonstrating select features, and be used as a transition device between sequences throughout the video. Snippets only for now due to confidentiality purposes, but stay tuned.
